Ruiz can make an ugly fight with anyone and survive just about anyone... Not known as a puncher, he still decked Holyfield... As much as I love Hearns, Ruiz is too big and too strong. I doubt he can be the boss in there as much as it would take to win a decision...
Tommy would make a good fight but would succumb eventually, his chin was shaky at Middle let alone Heavy.
atschatschatsch yeah ****ing shot-to-****ing-**** rancid rotting decrepit ancient zombie remains of a man who once was a great boxer called Holyfield was decked by Ruiz it means jack**** as the same shot-to-**** Holyfield was stopped and dropped by ex-middle James Toney and this proves shot Holyfield does not have a great iron chin like he used to :verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad that Tyson who Holyfield beat-up would of bounced that shot pile of diarrhea Holyfield who Ruiz fought off the canvas like a bouncy ball :deal
In terms of prime vs. prime H2H... I think these guys were better than Ruiz- Ali, Holmes, Holyfield, Foreman, Louis, Marciano, Frazier, Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Klitschko, V. Klitschko, Charles, Walcott, Johnson, Norton, Witherspoon, M. Spinks, Byrd, Moorer, Moore... Toney was better... so was Ibeabuchi, Tua, Roy Jones Jr, and several others.
The CW version of Holyfield who beat Qawi (WSD15) in just his 12th pro fight would have stopped any version of Ruiz IMO.
I appreciate you passion, but you're making a lot of assumptions of my view. I agree with all of your counter points, but they have little to do with my point... Holyfield could be dropped, even in his prime, and we all know chin is one of the last things to go.
roy jones sr said it about buster mathis...too much meat on that man. ruiz is too big and hearns was not a massive light heavyweight. just too much size for hearns to deal with and he was not mobile enough to pot shot like jones did
