    Think what you will about Ruiz we all agree he wasnt the most eye pleasing Champion to watch fight, BUT if you were a fighter set to face Ruiz and you took him lightley by the slightest bit Ruiz was a guy who would find a way to beat you.
    Like it or not he has beaten some pretty good fighters out there, even though he sucks he is one of few to win a heavyweight title twice

    That's MIGHT be admirable if what Ruiz did to "win" was WITHIN the rules. Holding excessively is not, and faking low blows - as Ruiz did in multiple fights he was losing - is utterly disgraceful.

    And he would never have gotten away with it if it weren't for his connections to Don King. That's Ruiz - poster boy for boxing corruption. A glorified clubfighter who went way beyond where he would have if he had to compete WITHIN the rules, using just his mediocre abilities.

    Besides the Tua fight I think Ruiz had honestly shown a solid chin...but I as every one else cant stand him. Things such as hugging, Norman Stone, his big mouth, etc. really make me hate this guy.

    zakman we have been through this years ago you and I, you know its not a foul until the ref does his job, if the ref isnt calling it its not a foul.
    you cant blame King or Ruiz for doing what they are doing, their job is to come home with the W, its the officials that should be warned about these issues with Ruiz and they have done a terrible job in his fights.

    He sure would, However those shots from Tua landed on any heavyweight would have had the same results.
