    This is what I said to Zakman recently. Don't blame Ruiz, blame the ref for not doing his job period. At least he is just holding not eating fighters ears or trying to break fighters arms.

    Your in the ring to win the fight not to see if you can take the best punch from a murderous puncher. He learned from that fight. Byrd was not a good champ to watch, but he hung on to his belt for years and he got gift decisions to. It is part of the fight game that has been going on ever since boxing started. I love boxing and I have certain fighters that I have to see. If there is a fight on with a fighter I don't like to see, let's see, oh, I change the channel.
