Stamina is a strong point for Simmy, and as I said,Harrison is a beast of a trainer but he was gassing very badly against a weak opponent.
Going only on what we've seen recently I can't see past Simpson.

 Football's football and boxing's boxing mate. Simmy is in my top 5 favourite active fighters, the wee man will face anyone and always gives a good account of himself. The way he bounced back from the Selby defeat to to wipe Appleby out the way he did just personified everything I like about him as a fighter. On the other hand I've no time for Harrison, loved him back in the day but the way he threw it all away totally turned me against him. He's just not a likeable guy at all.

I'm good by the way, not posted on ESBV for quite a while and it's good to be back. You keeping well?

Its a huge cross roads fight. Very good fight for Scott to show if he is still sharp or only looks it against the guys he has fought.

i doubt this will happen and as a scot im not big on watching scots fight each other. i was a big harrison fan back in the day but he looks shot. simpson is one of my fav fighter, ive got alot of respect for him so i would want him to win and think he probably will if it happens. i suppose it would be better to take if harrison was found wanting by a scot rather than a engishman!

im not totally writing harrison off tho, even if he's past it it wont stop him trying to kill simpson, it wouldnt be scott harrison if he didnt. 2 real tough men right there.

so will scott go down to superfeather for this [dnt think he could] or will simpson have to move up to lightweight? that could be a step too far for simpson. weight issues might stop this fight happening imo.

I know that's just your own opinion mate but I never understand when people say things like that, whether it's Scottish, Irish, Asian, Black or whatever. If 2 guys from Scotland are competing at a similar level in or around the same weightclass, surely its a good thing for the sport to have them face off and see who's better? Fights like that always create good interest.

As much as I love wee simmy as a scottish boxing fan? Im a Scotty Harrison nuthugger.
The **** has has put me through hell, but he almost feels like family to me now & when your backs against the wall & you have a choice to make?

Blood is thicker than water. You back who you are closest to, & love him or hate him my heart is with scotty.

As the poster above me rightfully said, this one looks like a go-er. I know simmy has sparred scotty in the past & has always fancied his chances against scotty in a proper scrap, but IMO he wont win.

People on here are bugging me with this scotty shot stuff, but labelling a fighter as 'shot' is kinda trendy on here now, I noticed Chisora is suddenly 'shot' cos an excellent fighter in David Haye stopped him! Forgetting of course Chisora gave Vitali a run for his money the fight before...

Thing with scotty though is that he didnt lose a ****IN ROUND in his last fight! Put a bigger man down, a guy who he didnt have a clue about beforehand... but cos he couldnt close the show against a guy rightfully attempting just to survive?

    Scottys old. Hes shot.

    Get a grip people:-(

2 fights back? 2 WINS. Got some much needed rounds under his belt also, win win in my book. At loooong last, fighting at a weight hes more comfortable at. Looks better, & more importantly says hes FEELING better than he did killing himself to make the 9 stone limit in his heyday.

I could tell you all right now how Scotty will defeat simmy, but simmy is a fellow jock so I will hold my counsel for now. Just let me say that Scotty wins this one. It will be fun while it lasts though, cos Simmy ALWAYS has his successes in any fight hes involved in. This fight will be no different.

Dec 1st is a close to Christmas, I just hope Scotty doesn't get into the festive spirit before his next fight.

ive had 24 hours to think about this , Dunky is right harrison is not shot hes old : His timing is all to **** , his reflects have gone and his punch resistance has dwindled. look at the last fight against elfidh (sp) he could be seen to wince on occasion .

But i think Simmy going up in weight could be the undoing of him ,i dont recall seing him at that weight ,will his power go up ? how will he handle a lightweight landing on him,the latter i dont think will be too bad as i know hes sparred lightweights

Harrison looked tired in his 2nd fight after about 7 years out, spent boozing or in jail?? SHOCKER!! OF COURSE HES GOING TO BE TIRED!!
Fitness is taken to peak in camp, but he wont get his body to where it needs to be in a few months.
Also he was fighting a guy with no desire to win, and who was much bigger. Yes his timing was off, but again, it was his 2nd fight in 7 years!

He'll beat Simpson, he's miles too big. Simpson is actually pretty similar to Scott without the brute strength or size.
I like Simpson, but I dont give him any chance here. In Alex Arthur etc Scott will be sparring guys bigger and better than Simpson day in day out

I'll be half neutral in this one .Don't really want to see it tbh because i'm a fan of both fighters .I would rather see both against decent opponents only from England ( the auld enemy ) Got to route for Simpson though if it goes ahead but tbh don't want it to happen .
