Only the first few sentences of this post are honest. The rest either leaves out facts is wrong or agenda-ridden.

1 ) Vs Sharkey Jeffries had a shoulder injury in round two, taking away his left hook. That's a reason why he counted. DUH.

2 ) Sharkey, Ruhlin, and Corbett the first time were not old men. Fitz was older, but as his record shows easily took out contenders. He was the Archie Moore of his times. Johnson's best pure win is likely Tommy Burns, all 5'7" 168 pounds of him, and the majority of historians will all tell you Corbett, Fitzsimmons, and Sharkey was better.

3 ) Jeffries average weight was a little over 220 pounds for his title matches, more than Ali or Holmes. If you think he would not be 230+ today, you're a bigger moron that I thought. Also, if 220 is too light, then do you think Ali and Holmes would be too small today? A catch 22, you will not solve.

4 ) The heavier men Jeffries fought lasted a shorter amount of time. Munroe, and likely Kennedy.

5 ) Johnson's jab hardly shows on film at all. If his jab showed well vs a 19-year-old Sam Mcvey who was a raw novice and on film near his prime looks terrible, its means very little!

6 ) Johnson's low guard, and a shaky chin vs. punchers when to hit. He didn't use mobility often, had a limited 74" reach, dubious results vs. super middleweights ( Ko loss, some say points loss and a knockdown ), lack power, and heavy reliance on fighting very green, very old, or much smaller men would have a far tougher task adapting today. Who Johnson's best weight is even ranked today? NO ONE.

7 ) Johnson was rather foul prone, going low, hitting on breaks, hitting and holding...he would not get away with this today. As champion, he ducked the 3-4 best contenders. Fans would boo his title choices. Flynn, Ross, Ketchel, Moran et all would not be in the top 10 today. They would all be journeyman at best.

8 ) To compare Wlad's vs Johnson on offense defines your stupidity. Wlad is better at almost everything, including clinching. He doesn't use an uppercut, but his jab, cross, and hook are far superior to Johnson's It's not even close. And of course, Wlad hits much harder. IF the two fought, Wlad would win every round and KO Johnson shortly after he lands his right cross or hook.

9 ) With his wife-beating tendencies and law breaking ways, Johnson would likely be in prison if he was around today.

10 ) Did you buy your hood and black lives matter t-shirt yet? Might I also suggest a Malcolm X hat?

My earlier lines cover this more than adequately.

"I hope this makes up for the times when the thread went off piste ,due to an agenda driven poster?"

"Why don't you try and show some respect and courtesy to the OP and address the topic instead of spreading your hate driven lies on every thread."
Unlike you I had the courtesy to actually address the topic of the thread in my last post, all you have posted is a torrent of abuse ,excuses for Jeffries and a litany of lies.
The OP wants to know what both men had in terms of ability, and in particular how they relate to the modern game
He isn't looking for a diatribe about how Johnson beat his wife , or what excuses you want to manufacture for your hero.

He wants an objective assessment as to their respective talents.
Since you have shown yourself incapable of addressing the topic, despite posting here 7 times! Why don't you just f*ck off and take your poison elsewhere .:hi:

    See you in New York.
