You mean the parts where Rampage was getting his knee stomped to ****? The part where Jones shot for a take down and then dropped Rampage on his face while the bell rung? The wheel kicks and head kicks? Yeah, he stayed at his range of choice (which is further away than most guys because of his 12 foot reach), but there were plenty of times, as seen above, when he got right in close and engaged. What did you want him to do? Stand in the pocket and trade with ****ing Rampage?

I voted on the fence because I`m interested to see how Jones style mixes with a great counter-fighter that is difficult to takedown & hard to hit, those are Machida`s qualities, if he can beat Machida as easy as he has been beating everyone else then I will take nothing away from him at all because like I said, Machida`s style MIGHT be a problem for Jones or it might not, time will tell.

I`m gonna put a little £$ on a Machida points win tho as he`ll be a big underdog, can`t wait for this fight, it will be very, very fascinating to see the style clash.

He has a muscular upper body and naturally skinny legs. I don't think that Jones is moving up to HW anytime soon. The reason that he's fighting this soon is because he's still fighting under the contract that he signed before the Bader fight. Jones is not yet receiving a cut of the PPV revenue like the top draws in the promotion get. He had a meeting with Zuffa brass after the Rampage fight, and Dana said afterwards that they won't be ready to renegotiate terms with him until he makes a couple more title defenses. If he can hold onto his title with the middle of next year, he'll easily be one of the highest paid (in terms over the money he gets from the promotion) guys in the UFC.

Its all in his skinny legs. Few fighters could get away with such skinny legs.

No, my problem is people having selective memories as suits whatever point they're trying to make at that particular time, like whoever the idiot was the other week who said that Edgar and Maynard went into "safe mode" after the first round in their second fight.

nothing selective about what i said its fact, yeah he threw a few kicks and missed a few, tried a few takedowns got a few got a few stuffed, dont make no difference to him fighting on the outside most of the time during the fight, it was boring imo. Page landed absolutely **** all, jones would not trade with him, mind you when he did stay around long enough and ate a jab or two he didnt look comfortable in the slightest
