    Round 12

Jab by Dickinson, slightly re-energized. Lateral movement by Dickinson, with noticeably more bounce. Dolan pumps out the 1-2 into the air as Dickinson dives in beneath it and props against him for a breather until pushing off to reset. Dickinson with lever-push jabs, doing little more than unbending his elbow but getting between Dolan's fists while ducking and making him miss with hooks. Both throwing arm punches with no steam, but the straighter and truer shots by Dickinson. Dickinson clinching and shoving Dolan to the ropes. Dolan badly telegraphs a few looping swings and Dickinson is able to duck them all while blindly countering overhead to provide himself counter fire. Light jab by Dickinson.

    10-9 Dickinson

    Dickinson seems pretty confident.

Dickinson is being interviewed, but is nigh unintelligible.

All I can pick out is the odd "ye know what I mean, yah?" punctuating every other sentence.

He's like the British version of Paul Williams.

Maloney says the goal for 2013 for Dickinson is the Lonsdale outright.

Jon himself says he wants a big fight in Newcastle.

GB has a pretty dire crop of home grown cruisers.

One world-class operator in Afolabi, and the gap between him and their #1 on the domestic scene - British Boxing Board of Control champ Dickinson - is enormous. Then, in turn, Dickinson is far ahead of the rest - as sad as that is.

I dare say Dickinson would get knocked spark out if he even tried to ascend as far as the Commonwealth title held by Shane Cameron of New Zealand.

It would be a cracking little donnybrook while it lasted, though.
