calzaghe took away his intial hope by turning on a master class, and made Jones look a complete fool in the ring, no ones ever done that.

Jones has been a B level fighter since 2003, Calzaghe is an A level fighter with C class power. The fight went as most people with brains predicted, and it told us nothing about how a prime for prime fight would have gone, other than Roy is incredibly shot and Calzaghe is terribly open defensively.

Its hard to say who would have one in both their respective primes. On the issue of calzaghes defence, and his blatant showboating hand down in front of roy, he only fought that way tonight because he could see jones's shots coming. Put simply calzaghe would have adpated to roys fast hands and power in the first four rounds making for a close competitive fight.

My fave part was when Jones started acting cocky, and show boating after the KD, and from then on, was humiliated by the most outragous showboating, jacked up and mercifully kept in until the end ( maybe not so merciful actually)
