I don't feel so bad for him, he had to opportunity to stay active when Shogun got injured, he didn't take it (fair enough, there are no easy fights at 205, and it would've been a massive risk).

Then he'd been out for months and gets injured in training, and loses his shot to Jones (okay, it sucks, but I think we can all agree Jones was more than deserving, in retrospect).

Then he starts up all the bull**** about not wanting to fight his friends and switching weight classes and *****, *****, *****.... Dana gets pissed, and Rashad changes his tune.

Now he wants to fight Jones because of some perceived insult from one of Jones' comments (that I've never actually seen), and now Jones is injured... (and I'm just gonna go ahead and assume someone, whether it was UFC brass or some of Rahsads sponsors, has told Rashad that he'd be wise to take a fight).

It's a series of unfortunate events, but it's not entirely without Rashads influence

I see what you are saying, but Evans beat Rampage and Thiago fair and square. Machida is the only fighter Evans has lost to. Evans is easily in the UFC's top 4 or 5.

Machida is currently signed to fight Couture, and Rua is coming off a drubbing. What higher ranked fighter could Rashad face?

    After 2 consecutive losses.

Forrest Griffin is tied up, Nog, Bader and Franklin are all coming off losses and are booked up anyway. Davis is pretty much the only option.

I knew that, but I've read rumors that there were some problem between Evans and Jackson of some stuff like that.

I hope they do not train with each other...it would be kinda weird

Evans isn't going back to Jacksons. Setting up his own camp.

Thats sad but like I said pre Lil Nog, Davis is next in line and he could be dangerous. He is now 1 fight away from his title shot. October time could see Jones vs Davis. Davis vs Evans is a good fight though.

Do you wanna watch that **** again??

I spend all of Rashads fights hoping he gets caught going in for on of his takedowns before the inevitable LnP that follows

Jones just doesn't want to fight his friend that's all.
