    Round 10

Pedraza is sticking the jab on the sternum of Smith and rollicking to either side while zigzagging with his legs, in and out and laterally. Pedraza using an unconventional and unpredictable rhythm with lots of head-fakes to keep Smith guessing, then falling in with overhand rights and body shots. The 1-2 of Smith now routinely missing over Pedraza's lowered and inward-turned shoulders.

    10-9 Pedraza

    100-89 Pedraza

I'm a big fan of Pedraza, but that annoys the hell out of e with him too.

As I said a few pages back - he's the Featherweight Paul Smith. British/Euro level. No shame in that, not everyone can be a world champ.

Not entirely accurate from Bernstein there. He claims this is the first time he ever watched Pedraza where he didn't once turn southpaw.

Pedraza has actually done the switch fleetingly a few times already tonight - but never remained in the lefty stance for more than a moment (that is, enough to fire a punch or take more than one step in any direction). What he was doing was more reminiscent of the Golovkin/Dempsey style of "shifting", but could also have been him briefly considering turning southpaw and then reconsidering, making on-the-fly tactical decisions.

    110-98 Pedraza

Smith working hard but to no avail. He can't touch Pedraza with any consistency.

Really good 11th round by Smith all things considered.

Pedraza well in front and in winning comfortably now but Smith has stuck it out.

    Pedraza is good nothing special

Lomo, Vargas are levels above him... Both beat him rather easily
