Beebs, Torres wasn't that good. He's ok at best. He definately wasn't as good as people claimed he was. I mean look at the way he got KO'd. Running right into a shot with his chin hanging right out there. Looked like a damn amatuer. He's a good fighter, he had some good performances, but definately not to the degree in which people hyped him. He's a top fighter in his weight class. He's a top 2 or 3 fighter at 135, but his hype train was outrageous.
Wasn't capable of dealing with pressure? Obviously the problem here is that people don't know **** about the 135 division, which is pretty hard to follow.
Aldo looked fantastic against Brown and all power to him, but to describe Miguel Torres as a "Hype job" is a bit mad!! P.S I watched UFC 106 on the t.v so I could easily be wrong, but when Aldo appeared on the screen the crowd seemed to give no reaction!! Is this a case of those fans in attendance knowing naff-all about MMA outside of the UFC or do I need a new t.v?
