    15 rounds. Welterweight.

Two diverse styles. Who makes the other lead?...Or would Napoles be the aggressor?...Ross is brilliant at parrying and blocking, Napoles' uncanny reflexes allow him to slip then counter.

This is one of the toughest I've thought through, at a fifteen round distance I believe there would be little between them score wise at the end. Ross by a nose.

I rate Napoles #5 welter of all time.

If Jose's eyes hold up...then he wins.

Napoles on a 15 round decision with Ross duking it out 'til the bitter end.

Ross would not be duking it out, he would be running, parring, boxing, feiting and circleing.

    Ross was not a brawler.

I think he really meant he would be highly competitive till the end Dempsey.

I think Jose takes this by a couple of points. It would be a top fight.

I see Napoles as being a bit too slick and crisp punching for Ross. Mantequilla had the right balance of power, speed and skill to win a 15 round decision over the savvy and tough Ross.

I see Napoles as completely dominating and bullying Ross, whether at LW or WW

Mantequilla would be too smooth for Ross.

I would agree with both of these. I think Napoles a top 5 WW, and if his eyes hold up in a fight I am not sure if I would pick any WW outside of SRR to Mantequilla....Gaviln/SRL I might call pick em, although I would pick Napoles over both. Perhaps I am to biased for one of my favorite non-Philly fighters....
