Pretty intriguing matchup. I know the initial poster said "prime" at 147, but I just cannot help but factor in which Duran shows, & if Napoles would get cut. Taken in a series, the outcome may have had surprising results.

One matchup that has always intrigued me was Duran vs. Ike Williams. Pure rage, hate & venom in that one-these two wouldn't back down or be intimidated.

IMO, I just can't see the smooth, but weaker Joe Naps beating a ferocious Rob Duran at 135 to 145 pounds if they were pitted together in a time machine. I do however, see a great night of boxing, but Duran prevails in the end. Naps does well on the outside, but is too cautious later in the fight and simply plays it safe to try and go the 15 rds.

Duran TKO 15 Naps. in a great fight of skills and wills....:deal

When did Napoles ever "play it safe"? That wasn't in his DNA. He even went all out against Monzon.
