I have Mares winning a rout, dropping 1 or 2 rounds

The ref is nutsucker for Mares. If Agbeko just kept throwing straight right hands, not looping, right behind the jab, he will KO Mares. Mares has been hurt and is still hurt numerous times as the rounds pass.

If Mares' punch stats only included shots to the balls.

Yes, it is starting to look really suspicious. This isn't the first time this has happened.

There is obviously a lot of money behind Mares to allow this sort of corruption.

Left hook is still there for MAres. Kk one shot at a time, he needs some combos. If this was a jabbing contest KK would be ahead. Nice bosyn work again by mares. Mares seemed to gas tho at the end of the rd. allowing KK to steal it
    10-9 KK
    77-74 Mares

    Round 8

Agbeko is again landing the rights. Blatant low blow from Agbeko. Mares's only effective punches are low blows. Agbeko is landing clean right hands all round.Agbeko hurt Mares with a right to the body then caught him with a right when Mares tried to lunge in.

    Round 1: 10 - 8 Mares
    Round 2: 10 - 9 Agbeko
    Round 3: 10 - 9 Mares
    Round 4: 10 - 9 Agbeko
    Round 5: 10 - 9 Agbeko
    Round 6: 10 - 9 Mares
    Round 7: 10 - 9 Agbeko
    Round 8: 10 - 9 Agbeko

    Round 8

Mares is busily hooking and crossing away at Agbeko. Mares is taking some counter shots through the middle but is scoring with both hands and staying close. Agbeko isn't retreating, just waiting and ducking in to meet Mares with overhand rights and his own wide hooks. Agbeko is missing a lot. Mares takes a step back right into a reaching left hook. Agbeko now walks Mares down. Mares is giving up the entire span of the ring. Not much is happening, really. Finally they navigate to the Corona logo and start to trade, just before the bell.

    10-9 Agbeko

    76-75 Mares

I guess I see this differently than the commentary team. MAres is getting potshotted for the whole 3 minutes and landing a combo every 30 seconds or so.

    I got Agbeko pulling ahead.

    76-75 Agbeko

I'll tell you what despite the low blows Mares is landing some bombs to the body too. But he stands no chance whatsoever with Donaire.

GoldenBoy will never in a million years feed Mares to Nonito

low blows are going to take the luster away from an other wise good performance
