....if he ever wants to capture the fans imagination and get himself on the radars of World Heavyweight Champions like Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua and top contenders like David Haye, Dereck Chisora, Hughie Fury and David Price.

Or he could just keep winning fights by KO, get himself a mandatory and do it that way.

Or Joshua could unify with Fury and earn 30 times more than a none haka Parker. :think

He's fighting Takam, which in my mind and many others is a better opponent than Chisora, Price and Hughie.

i mentioned that a few weeks back, i think a war haka is one of the coolest rituals of combat and would be very appropriate given his nationality and nature of the sport. can you picture his whole team facing the opposing corner and throwing the challenge? might even get in his opponents head if he looks fierce enough.

I find haka's silly, they overcompensate.

This just in, SuperHans has been banned once again :bbb

The guy is obsessed with UK trolling, the funny thing is the UK has great boxers, there is no reason to be such a goof about it :rasta

overcompensate for what? the maori, hand to hand, are some of the greatest warriors in history. what would they need to compensate for?

It actually is a great idea - for the whole Parker team.

Mind you, Parker seems to speak with his fists.

Long-term that is all that matters

    Hell no.

Our country already performs those things left right and center. Anyone with 1/250th Maori in their blood claims a Haka in any sport possible.

The Haka belongs in Rugby and Rugby only...

Besides, Parker is a humble guy.

The haka is not just a war cry. It's used in a lot of ways and can mean a lot of things, all of them essentially amount to respect being given to the recipient of the performance.

In saying that, if Joe was going to do anything a Siva Tau would probably make more sense in a lot of ways. He does seem to need a bit more engagement but I don't like how Duco seem to be trying to invent a character for him.

Joe Parker is not a very indigenous name. I know he's part European but... ?
