Josh Kelly vs Avanesyan is OFF tonight - Kelly taken ill

He perhaps should have been given a chance but he can have no complaints about the stoppage. He was leaving himself open and getting caught clean. Kerman needs a new trainer if he's going to graduate above European level.

Might be an ironic comment, but he'd be a good opponent for Josh Kelly.

If he pulls out before purse bids and says he’s not ready yet then fair enough but don’t pull a late sicky again.

 

Agreed, he’s not ready yet and there’s shame in that.

I disagree with your other point though, I think lejarraga is a good opponent for him.

 

Doubt he fights either yet, think he’ll fight Benn and maybe another fight stateside

I doubt Kelly takes the challenge. Avenesyan would beat him, and I think he and his team know it.

 

Kelly should take the fight, could be the making of him as his performances recently have been poor.

 

What do we think of Kelly, when someone was asking about most hyped fighters the other day his name came to mind. He can look good, but I'm wondering if he's style over substance?

 

Think he is all flash. Actually that's harsh because it makes it sound like he is purely flash, there is a talented fighter in there. But against decent fighters, his defence is terrible and he will be stopped. i think that is inevitable

 

Booth will come up with some injury scare , he knows Kelly not good enough

 

The way in which he beat Molina i thought was impressive for like his 15 ish fight or so
But he ain't performed any where that since
Although he probably caught Molina opening the exit door
