Taylor eeked out a razor close decision on home Scottish soil. He was a deserving victor, but a draw would have been fair too. I scored it a draw myself. Both fighters have looked dominant since their fight together. This rematch must be made in order to settle the score. And should Prograis win, a trilogy and immediate rematch would be warranted in my opinion.
Agreed. The first fight was damn close, could have gone either way, or even been scored a draw. Every great fight deserves a great rematch, hopefully we get it this year before one of them decides to move up.
Don't know why no one talks about this rematch? The fight was razor close and a good scrap. A rematch should have already happened by now and I'm sure Prograis would go to the UK again for it.
I'm not saying it's not a good fight, but I'm so sick of rematches holding up better fights, I can't say I'm especially desperate for it.
This is the best fight at 140 though. Taylor Crawford at 147 makes sense, but if Taylor is going to stay at 140 then Prograis is the fight.
I'm not saying you're wrong at all. I'm just sick of every fights having to happen 2 or 3 times, while the top guys might only fight twice per year, and so just can't be too bothered if it happens or not.
Rivalries are always good for boxing. When two evenly matched fighters provide good action in a close fight, you do a rematch. That’s how it always been in boxing, and these kind of rivalries provided dozens of great fights. Jr WW has been underwhelming and overlooked for a long time, a trilogy between Taylor and Prograis might be just what it needs.

Prograis (not intentionally) headbutted Josh to start the eye swelling and he still couldn't win. Taylor beats him handily in a rematch
Teo needs a couple of fights at 140 before you throw him in with the likes of Regis. The taylor-regis rematch should happen and if Teo proves himself he can fight the winner or loser.
needs to fo more at the weight inmorder to face Taylor for it all if regis loses again that it a cert he can fight regod for that right will Josh ticks over ?
