I agree completely, taking absolutely nothing away from Taylor, he did a number on OD but.. People give Joe Gallagher tons of abuse on here and sometimes he deserves it, Tony Sims gets virtually none, now wtf was the gameplan? What were they doing in camp? Swinging wildly? No body shots to be thrown? Just keep low, keep swinging and hope you land a bomb? OK I know it's down to OD, he is the one on there and he might not have followed orders, we don't know but I believe Sims has to be questioned, is it a coincidence McCracken is now in Joshua's corner.
Fighters react differently to body shots, and it's a question of where the shots are actually landing.
Davis is definitely packing glass. Rocked by a jab... Great performance by Taylor though. Those ripping hooks to the body were devastating , fast and flawless technique. I didn't expect Taylor to make him look like an amateur
Didn't like the way he hit OD after he'd turned away though....that was nasty and could have injured OD badly
That's a fair comment, if behave the way OD does then you have to take the gloating and abuse when it goes moobs up.
Fully deserved. He had to make sure he'd won the fight. No time for nicey nice in a ring, follow the rules and that's it. I didn't like how he carried on punching after the ref came in, and then the clear lack of respect after he'd won, which you dont usually get after a fight as finished even if the fighters hate each other. I.e haye Bellew.
Burns would without a doubt get stopped by Taylor. Burns has been going downhill for years and even when he was at his peak I'm not sure if he'd beat Taylor.
