Exploited by making a 100 million quid. Its a stretch imo. Or sign me up to be exploited. They just need to deal with not being the best atm. Hard pill to swallow when you,ve been told you we,re the best for so long. Everyday people go through much worse. But its just got too much for him atm. Fame at that level is a ticking time bomb. It comes at the cost of success more than explotation. The quicker he can get his head round peoples opinions being of no real importance to him....is the day he,ll start to move forward. All the explotation in the world wont change that. No big deal. Acted like a pratt. But i reckon his actions can be explained easily enough instead of it being a case of look see hes always been a nasty piece of work. Think we,re all capable of being nasty....but to his defence hes tried to be a decent fella mostly probably overly so. Its just not always easy for most of us let alone someone in the pressure cooker when things start going wrong. Hes uncomfortable most of the time round a camera...the often rubbish he spouts is the pressure hefeels of trying to live up to the big billing as the greatest hesbeen told from so many. Probably a bright enough bloke. Hard work living up to the tag of the best. The good news is he doesnt need to anymore. Hes not the best. Time to relax a bit. Could well be the best thing thats happened to him in the end.
that actually makes a lot of sense. He’s clearly deluded enough to think that speech would be lauded in the headlines, a reaction to such an injustice. Until it was carefully explained to him it wasn’t even a split decision really lol
yes that was part of it he gave speech about Reading remand centre (ask cousin Benga) because he think Ukraine war sympathy made robbery decision so look at me I'm just big bodybuilder stiff muscle head from prison not real boxer. it is harder for me so i deserve decision! there was this in the speech mixed in with all other stuff
he not been exploited to suffer financially but he was exploited used by Hearn in Hearn's attempt to dominate world of boxing & it continues. worse than ever. Hearn wants him out in December. he said this post fight. & listen to the hate Hearn has to Fury now. kicking himself he didn't get Fury!
Probably not far from the truth. It was cringeworthy stuff. Pretty much showed hes pretty much a spoiled brat just like a lot of his generation is. Add to that hes been spoiled from the trappings of fame. Usyk hasnt fallen into that same trap probably a harder more disciplined upbringing in the ukraine and the behaviour between the two of them shows. But its an easy trap to fall into in joshuas defence.
Not a stretch at all mate. Yes he's made millions, but so have others off his back. Do you think that cretin of a manager would be anywhere near him if he wasn't a cash cow? Same as Hearn. They've been spinning the lad lies for the last decade to line their own pockets and the result of it was Joshua's breakdown on Saturday night. Nothing but exploitation. I'm not disagreeing with much of what you're saying, but a spade is a spade and Hearn and co are awful human beings. Face it, they aren't in it for altruistic reasons.
Thats just life and business mate. Eddies a promoter....its basically his job to tell us joshuas the best in the world. Tbf he wasnt all that far away in the end. 2 or 3 can beat him. Its not like joshuas the 50th best and their telling us hes the best. I think it has caused pressure and has probably played a part in his current position. But on the other side of the coin ...joshuas made great money...increased his profile...probably increased his confidence...gave him more believe...probably motivated him to try to prove them right. Its pretty much their job at the end of the day. I actually think hearn probably believed it as well. Just a negative side of that level of fame. Although i will say that lifetime deal is a worry. Probably shouldnt be allowed. Joshuas easily exploited and eddie likes money and the limelight. Joshua should be thinking about retiring in the next two years. How far do they push him to churn out viewers/make money off him. That will probably show if eddie really has any decency or if it is all just about the money. Joshua should be out the game in two years time. If hes not theres a problem.
Many missed that red flag for what it was at the time, rationalizing it as a case of an accomplished, well-adjusted adult teaching some whippersnapping hooligans a needed lesson. Some even reimagined the pencil-thin students as blade-wielding members of a murderously aspiring youth gang. But it struck me at the time that no well-adjusted professional athlete would respond to cheeky teenagers yelling, 'Oy, Joshua, mate! You're a chinny ****a and Tyson Fury's going to give you a right hiding!', out of a student dorm window by insisting on being granted access to the apartment and dispensing ominous lectures about cracking jaws. Those loveable rascals of academia were lucky it was on campus, or else Femi might've got the ball gags out and summoned the gimp.
Why a slice of toast? Why not a hill of beans? That damage limitation post was laughable. I'd suspect Hearn was paying you for the stuff you spout here, but Eddie would at least hire someone literate.
The latest brilliant insight from @bbjc; Great blokes don't exist. Yep, it's true. All those times you gazed admiringly at an old photo of your honorable, good-humored, hard-laboring, self-sacrificing, family-supporting father or grandfather and thought to yourself, "What a great bloke", you were lying.
Come off it tho...is it really a red flag. Or is it just a sign of a man thats starting to lose the battle of fame when things are starting to go wrong and the pressures getting too much. I go online this last year and everywhere i look is joshuas a big chinny robot. Useless. Etc. Its been going on a while. Most of these folk are like yourselves as well. Never achieved anything in the grand scheme of things. Pretty much taking your frustrations of life out on people that actually are achieving. Now the guys getting it in the street. Hes been knocked out in front of the world. Hes went on to lose again and to his credit hes dug deep and worked twice as hard to try to get back to where he was all the while being told online everyday hes hopeless and now their shouting it in the street at him and if you retaliate in anyway your an evil fella. I think that kind of reasonings coming from an unreasonable mind. What i see is the most vocal are almost always the biggest losers. He shouldnt be getting involved....it is a red flag that the pressure of fames getting too much for him. But not much more than that. We,ve got a generation of absolute muppets that think they can do or say anything they want without consequences. Sport is about opinions. I think we,re all entitled to them. But its becoming increasingly becoming clear people are using these opinions because of a lack in their own life. At that point its went past the point of being reasonable.
