Despite Quinlan being limited he would actually be a step up for Yarde. I expect Yarde to win that, but it would be a step up and finally against a puncher.

Its going to be a tune up fight and gets him up the rankings. No way you can make Burton vs Buatsi fight on 2 weeks notice. Plus Hearn has got a million dates to fill next year. I wouldn't be suprised to see Buatsi vs Burton for the British headline a Sky show at the copperbox next year. Wouldn't be suprised if Johnson goes in vs Boesel for the European in Matchrooms German debut.

Perfectly fine for your 9th fight. Quinlan isn't anywhere near world level but it's a step up to some degree

I'm sure Hearn slated ITV for having Eubank JR-Quinlan on box office, mind.

Quinlan is a good opponent for Buatsi at this stage of his career. I presume they are also planning on giving him more 48 hours to 7 days to prepare for the fight too.

Not sure why this fella is getting stick. He seems to be progressing upwards in his opponenents, albeit at a steady pace?

    Good opponent.

Ranked higher than any of Yarde’s opponents to date! 27th in the world! Yarde is still yet to face a top 30 fighter...

    Poor opponent.

As predicted, "the worlds most exciting prospect" is fighting Eubank Jr cast-offs instead of the Burtons and Johnsons of the world.

Every pic or video I see of Yarde has Tunde lurking in the back. How creepy.
Do they sleep in the same bed too?

But is significantly better than any Yarde opponent?

This has cleared the way for Yarde to fight Burton now, having turned the fight down before. No excuses.

I'm pretty sure that Burton didn't fancy the fight and Callum Johnson at his age won't want to take the chance of dropping down to British level again for a fight that he could lose and would undo all the praise he received after the Beterbiev fight. i think Callum will look at maybe the European title or an eliminator for a world title again. It doesn't leave that much options for Buatsi so i don't see the problem with the Quinlan fight except the usual hate for Eddie Hearn or a British prospect.

i don't think any of the british light heavy's have a decent resume, i think Nikola Sjekloca could be the win of them all, and even that isn't that good. Its mad as you have so many decents names in the uk not many fights between them, thats is burton vs buglioni, buglioni vs johnson. and maybe shinkwin vs burton and ball. such a shame
