Clottey is far from over rated. People think that he has a shot of beatting Cotto mainly I think for two reasons. He size, the guy is ****ing huge, and his style. He will hunt Cotto and bang on him. I think that coming of the fight with Margo Cotto will have some doubts about himself once Clottey starts to bang on him. I think that the first half of the fight is very important, if Cotto can fight smart and not let Clottey get to his body too much he will be ok.
I still don't know about this guy, He looked great the first 4 rounds against Margo, then faded quickly from what he says was a hand injury, but i've seen alot of fighters fight through worse. He looked great against Zab, but other than that he's been real hit or miss, he's never looed spectacular to me where Cotto has. i think it might be tough going early but I see Cotto breaking him down and winning a fairly easy UD.
No need to argue plaster. Even though Margo is a cheater, the facts don't lie that it would of been very hard for him to cheat in Vegas.

Well the Clottey fight happened in Atlantic City, so it held up against PlasterCheato and Cotto crumbled under regularcheato.
Im a Cotto fan and i personally dont like this fight for Miguel. Im a bit of a fan of Clottey to and i think he will cause Cotto lots of trouble, if Cotto is not switched on.
To be honest with you I know with out a doubt in my mind, that Margarito DID NOT use plaster paris in the Cotto fight. The proof is in the fight itself, look at how hard Margarito was throwing them shots, I mean he would load up and fire with full force, watch the fight you will see early on Margarito is putting everything he had in those shots. Had plaster of paris been present, i dont think that Cotto or any other fighter would have been able to take those kind of hard shots for 10 rounds, there is no way in my mind if he had plaster paris throwing the kind of shots he was, there is no way Cotto would have gotten that far in the fight.
Thing about Neveda is they provide the tape and guaze and actaully video tape the hand wrapping. We can all thank the Hopkins tito fight in New York for that, it was after that point they started doing it. Cotto got his ass beat because he couldnt hurt or keep Margo off him. Clottey is bigger and Stronger then Margo and maybe has an even better chin...He just isnt as active, which is the reason that I still Favor Cotto in the fight, but I dont like this fight for Cotto right now..It could end his career should he take another beatting the way he did vs Margo.
No doubt. Cotto's chin is known to be shaky, Margo threw a lot and Cotto played dumb. Cotto can beat Margo without a doubt in my mind, but he has to work the body and clinch, his refusal to was the main reason his lost the fight. He probably could of not clinched but if he went to the body. He would of won. Instead he tried to be flashy and thought he was cool. Paid for it, and quit in the end.
i wouldnt make bulletins like this. It'll make us Cotto fans ALL look bad and Cotto even worse. Dont jynx it man. Clottey's power is underrated. He has nice pop, but lacks finishing abilities. Cotto should win, but Clottey's chances are looking pretty damn good right now since Evangelista is gone.
