Fury worked out in round 12 of their first fight that you need to make Wilder move backwards and you need to stay within his power range, not just outside. If stand on the edge of that range you generally get tagged and put to sleep.

Wilder flattened Helenius with a very short right hand. Joshua will not trust himself to close the distance.

Nah, AJ will fight Fisher, who holds the British Southern Area HW Belt. It's all about legacy now for AJ. He wants those belts.

Would be so funny if Joshua knocks Wilder out early doors. You guys would cry so hard. Wilder probably knocks him out tho. But I’m here for it if he doesn’t lol

to be fair he probably won’t have too. Wilder misses a lot and leaves his chin out there. If Wilder commits and misses he’s probably getting put on his ass. Should be a great fight while it lasts. Wilder by KO probably.

I was surprised how marked up and bloody AJ's face was, looked like his nose was broke.

AJ has felt shots from powerful dudes, what he hasn’t seen and won’t believe until it’s too late is have fast Wilder can deliver that nuclear right hand. He could see everything Heli threw and still couldn’t avoid getting hit, Wilder is a different dimension in terms of speed.

I'm 50/50 on what you said. I agree he is very concerned about getting hit. Seems he has been that way since Ruiz 1. I also agree that Wilder takes him out quickly. That being said, I don't think Joshua was fake or manufactured. I just believe that he simply isn't the fighter he used to be.

Since the best person he "sleeped" is 137 year old Ortiz, I don't think there is a shred of evidence of this.

Haven't watched it closely but AJ looked tentative. This fight should have been a confidence builder but he will probably wak away with a little more head noise.

    Nice KO though

'Tentative' is a good way to describe it. It was just a workman-like performance. It wasn't terrible though, just not great either, but he did what he had to do and finished the fight in style.
If this fight had gone to the cards, I could understand the backlash.
