Joshua has the potential to make boxing "great again"

Fair sportsman and humble person with a mysterious aura around him. Hard hitting, skillfull heavyweight and KO artist. Young, hasn't even reached his prime.
A good role model and someone the audience can identify with. A success story, from young thug to boxing's most intresting fighter nowadays. Despite what his haters say, a natty sportsman who promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Do you think he has the potential to make more and more young people entering the boxing gyms in their cities? If not he, who then? Can he become famous in the US and sell his own PPV events in the United States?

 

Eventually he will be the face of boxing itself..however with the NEW generation ( i was in the PRIME Tyson one) they don't like skills or k.o artists ,they like circus acts outside the ring moreso..which is understandable bc they have a less attention span. Me myself im a Tyson esque fan of superior skills and k.o artists able to look like a elite fighter in the ring and thats what we have. Unfortunatly as stated its a new wave of fans mostly idiots who wouldn't know boxing if it literally jumped inside them...lmao

 

I will have to disagree with your assertions that Joshua is "humble" and "natty" (if that means not on gear) but otherwise I think he can & will blow up and become a star. Also, i would agree (despite the juice) he is a good role model which may bring in big money endorsements but could be a turn off to younger audiences more impressed with pink bugattis and paying strippers through college.

 

I don't have anything big against Joshua, just want Wlad to WIN and shut up his critics.

I don't see him as being very humble at all. In fact, I think he comes across as a bit cocky. It's OK, as long as he's got the skills to back it up, but there are still some big question marks surrounding him as a fighter.

His chin is largely untested, as is his stamina. We haven't seen him in very deep waters really. Beating Wlad would be a big step in the right direction, but he is certainly not a shoo-in to do that. If he does, the credit he receives will be mitigated somewhat by the fact that Wlad is 41.

I'm glad that the British fans are hyped about AJ, but the truth is that the jury's still out on him. Only time and good competition will truly tell if he will become the superstar some of his fans already consider him to be.

Yep if saying in all seriousness, of his desire to be the sporting world's first ever billionaire, is the kind of thing that a humble down to earth guy normally says.

 

I'm sure it's Molinas team that said he would become the first billionaire? Did he say it himself? He doesn't seem like the brash show offy type. I mean he was a millionaire for a long time and he kept rocking a casio g shock. The only reason he wears a Rolex now is because Hearn bought that for him after he became champ.

If you follow his snapchat, he lives in a small house and the car he drives is the Jaguar that was gifted to him by Jaguar.

He's made more money than alot of fighters but guys like Wilder own Rolls Royce and flash jewellery. And that's fine, you've worked hard so buy whatever you wish.

It's fine if he did say he wants to become a Billionaire. Everyone should aspire to be the best at what ever they do and be successful.. But he'd be a bit ambitious too wishful to think boxing would make him a Billionaire. I don't see it happening unless he strikes a deal with Under Armour for an exclusive clothing line like Micheal Jordan did with Nike.

 

What makes him not humble? I'm not arguing just curios. I've heard he puts on a show for cameras and acts calm and collected but is different.. but not sure. Can you elaborate?

If AJ goes to knock out Wlad, Wilder and Parker he'd be a massive superstar. Mainstream media would take notice.

 

Apparently he said it in a interview with GQ magazine which was then reported by the press over there.Something about he wanted to be a multi millionaire when he started but then seeing how even ordinary people including grandads and grannies were becoming millionaires through properly prices, he wanted to be a billionaire instead especially since no other sportsman had achieved that in their active career.

 

hes very good but until he fights wlad/parker/pulev/wilder/ortiz. or atleast 2 of those 5 I wouldn't crown him yet
