It sounds like you're ordering a pizza. It would be great if it came with a side order of Wilder or Fury.
Boxrec top 15 is as follows: 1Joshua 2.Wilder This content is protected 3.Usyk 4.Fury This content is protected 5.Ruiz This content is protected 6.Whyte This content is protected 7.Povetkin This content is protected 8. Pulev 9.Ortiz This content is protected 10.Chisora This content is protected 11.Kownacki 12.Hunter 13.Parker This content is protected 14.Hrgovic 15.Breazeale This content is protected This content is protected AJ's resume is deeper for sure, you can't hide that. Fury has only faced 1 x Top 15 fighter in 4 years, Wilder has only ever fought 3 x Top 15. It is also likely that AJ will have fought Pulev and Usyk by the end of the year too, so that would be 7 x Top 15 fighters. So more higher calibre opposition than Fury & Wilder in less fights. I hope after Wilder v Fury 2 that if they dont look to unify with AJ immediately, they at least face someone ranked and not the Wallin/Schwartz/Stiverne/Washington's of this world.
Beating Parker is more impressive than beating ortiz. Ortiz wins over Euro level or above - Jennings (nesrly 5 years ago) - Hammer Parker wins over Euro level or above - Ruiz - Takam - Hughie Fury - Dimitrenko Not only does Parker have the better career win but he has a more deeper record than Ortiz. Not to mwntione Whyte has beaten Rivas who has beaten Jennings far more recently than Ortiz. So yes Whytes record is better. Parker also has a better record than Wilder ( who has failed to beat of the standard of Ruiz). Povetkin just has a deeper resume than Wilder: Hammer (beat him far more convincingly than Ortiz), Hughie, Price, Huck , Perez, Rahman, Chagaev, Charr Takam and recently holding his own against Hunter (?which is more impressive than drawing than post retired version of Fury that struggled aginst Wallin).
Seems Boxrec have either lost their marbles or have themselves an actual working crystal ball in putting Usyk at no.3
Thompson and Scott are (were) both Euro or above. Ortiz would have been Parker, Povetkin and Whyte's best win.
Usyk or a fresh hungry challenger such as Joyce, Bakole and Dubois as all three would KO Anthony Fury-Klitschko. The recycling of the same stale puddings is bad for boxthing.
I can't see Ortiz beating Ruiz, Parker or a prime Chagaev. Nothing on his resume or his underwhelming peformances against Scott and Hammer suggest that would either. I would give the slight esge to Rivas against Ortiz in a potential fight and I think Takam vs Ortiz would be a close fight.
I'd favour Parker in a rematch against Whyte, that said Whyte deserved to win that on points. You can make comparison between then as Whytes and Parkers resumes are better and more proven against quality opponents than Wilder or Ortiz.
So AJ shouldnt defend against a top ten ranked challenger ,he should fight Joyce, 10 fights against unranked opposition,Dubois 13 fights against unranked opposition,Bakole 16 fights and lost to the only fringe contender Hunter. Three men not in the top ten ,yes sounds logical! You are a negative nonsense ,who only posts put downs on everything, a one trick, glass half empty, bore.
The ranking are all a load of Tom Kite with NO objective criteria in terms of wins in the ring. That is why sour cream rises to the top ten of the pudding plate
As you are bored, get your arris on Eurosport and you can watch the Anthony Fury-Klit Arena where a Tennis tournament is being played. Last chance for you to pay homage before it is pulled down - just like the undercrackers of all those unsuspecting PPV mugths on Saturday.
I'm only bored by muppets like you who have never made a post worth reading.A negative nonsense who has no constructive input to offer. You've got nothing to say, just the same old schtick dribbled out over and over again. You're an irrelevant bore Son!
