I agree that it’s a terrible take which is why I made the post. Take a look at previous pages of this thread and you’ll get your answer.
All I can see is work the body saying it over and over despite the fact he doesn't think it should be an excuse lol. Don't think anybody else had. You know the one man who wouldn't make excuses and that's Usyk.
Their is a clear agenda with some posters who are either pro-matchroom or anti-matchroom. Personally i feel like if AJ beat Usyk and then Fury (i personally dont feel he can beat either) he wouldnt get any respect from some posters. I honestly feel there is a pretentiousness from hardcores to boxers that have crossed over to mainstream, like those hipsters who only like peruvian lesbian steel pan electro funk bands.
Have you not heard the joys of pervian lesbian steel pan electro bands? I hear what you're saying, it's like that with most thing once it gets latched onto by masses. I think the problem stems from the hype and nonsense that surrounds them. It's all smoke and mirrors which is fair enough they want to earn money but genuine fans know what's going on so of course it will cause a bit of dislike. A prime example for this is Connor Benn v Algeri. I was out with mates of mates who were bigging up the win saying how even Pac Man couldn't do that. I pointed out he had barley boxed for 2 to 3 years and was pretty much a commentator or chef now and they had no idea at all. If AJ beats Usyk and Fury how can you not respect that as a boxing fan? He had a chance imo but I'd be surprised if he manages it.
Some good points well made, i think the dislike also comes from the promotions aswell (wether EH, FW etc) most real fans know when they are being lied to. I agree with last point but that is kind of my point. I dont think he can but if he did there would be numerous armchair critics ready to make excuses.
This is delusional. He outlander Chisora in 9 rounds, with one being even, and he shook up Chisora in the seventh, not the other way around. This is flat-out ridiculous.
