Let Miller mouth off outside of the ring whilst AJ uses his fists to talk inside the ring.

 

Miller has got a job to do. He needs to sell himself and the fight, and he probably also needs a mental edge if he can get it as on paper he's in line for a proper hiding.

Mission accomplished in the first regard - it's got people watching and talking. Casuals will see a guy built like a fire hydrant pushing AJ back and get the impression that he's the second coming of Clubber Lang.

With the second, like most trash talk it's unlikely to make much difference, and could actually be counter-productive. Given the choice, I'd rather fight the chilled, strategic Joshua who turned up against Parker than the frothing, snarling version who will happily beat the seven bells out of you and then laugh in your face.

Miller's Pursuit of Crappyness spiel was beyond cringeworthy. I've not been this embarrassed watching a guy talk **** prior to getting his ass handed to him since Phil Lo Greco got destroyed by Amir Khan after running his mouth.

 

I think Miller came across like a Pratt....he's just trying to build the fight I know,spose he's got to talk a bit of rubbish as his fights aren't going to sell anything

 

Miller was actually acting like a big baby, funnily enough.

That was a shove and a half though, I'll give him that. He did shift Joshua a fair bit. But I think it'll all be downhill now for Miller. I think Joshua is going to punish Miller savagely and remind him that their's levels to this.
