Joyce has a robotic kind of personality. His post fight interview with David Haye was cringe. Seems like a nice guy but not sure whether he will get past euro level. Hope I'm wrong.
Usyk was an Olympic champion....Joyce was like a novice guy off the street in comparison 5 years ago. I guess I should embrace for the Usyk fanboy club to attack now!
The division is poor so I definitely see him getting past Euro level. You could argue that Whyte is fringe world level and he isn't particularly good at anything. Certainly I would favour Joyce to beat Whyte even at this stage in his career. Joyce isn't anything special though so I don't think he'll win a title unless one of the titlists is particularly weak.
I thought it was quite funny how Palmer was all up in his face, talking tough at the weigh in (Joyce actually backed up a step which I thought made him look a bit weak) and then put up less of a fight than anyone I can think of.
During one of the pre-fight interviews Palmer said Joyce had been babied or protected (or something along those lines) his whole career. Er. Joyce was only 2-0 and he fought Ian Lewison in his first fight. He also said that we we going to find out what real punching power was. He got flattened by one punch in 38 seconds lol
He had next to zero experience in 2013 for competitive high level and wasn't at top level....only a fool would suggest that! Amateurs and pros are totally different anyone who follows boxing should know this, the agenda you push on here..????
Yeah slouches off the street are capable of medaling at the European and ABA.... Yet another fail from Galvatard.
Palmer knows his place. Why take punishment for nothing? Better to look for a long and healthy career as a journeyman.
Joyce looked ******ed. Also being that stiff and also being almost past prime doesn't look good for his career
