would anyone one want to see this fight. would be pretty entertaining. id rather see it at 147lb if diaz would go that high
Berto would knock diaz the **** out. Berto punches harder than marquez and is younger, stronger, faster. Diaz better stay at lightweight since JMM might be moving up and casamayor is not getting any younger. He can be the top dog in that weight class.
I don't know if Berto can hit 140..If he could and do it with not drying himself out id say Berto by ko...To quick and fast ...very elusive!
diaz needs the extra stuff in his belly to be 135. he cannot nulk up to 147 for sure and berto cannot make 140. so this fight will never happen. and i dont see this match as appealing
BabyB used to fight at 147. I think he is struggling draining weight to make 135. Move up 14o where I believe he will KO'ED..
Doesn't look like he's draining much weight to me. His chubby little self could probably stand to lose a few more pounds and he'd be just fine. As far as a proposed Berto fight goes, it would probably be entertaining for the first few rounds, and then after that Berto's harder punches would begin to give Diaz quite a beatdown and he'd be KOed around round 7 is my guess. Not a very good matchup IMO.
Berto can't make 140, the guy weighs 160+ for all his fights. Diaz is a lightweight and makes it comfortably (weighs less than 140 on fight night). Impossible matchup.
Eh..... We'll see how Diaz looks against anyone at this point. He got hammered out by Marquez much more brutally than I thought at first, but after a re-viewing I'm wondering what will happen to the kid. Berto isn't exactly Godzilla, but he's still physically too much, even though Diaz is a better product.
