this fight will happen very soon. arum seems so bent on putting this two together. i like juanma, he's a better prospect than gamboa IMO. but concepcion has a chance, he's really strong for his age and has good body-built. he moves alot in the ring and has many unpredictabloe punches. ive seen him spar with penalosa and the kind of punches that jolted DPL's head, if they aren't blocked doesn't seem to affect concepcion.

true... concepcion's defense is better than ponce de leon.. he can pick his punches and might get a decision against juan ma

Juanma vs Ponce, I just knew Juanma was going to win.

Don't tell me you forgot to look in the vBookie the Juanma vs Ponce fight bet, that was easy money and even more knowing that Juanma was the underdog (crazy people)

 

Vazquez retired Bernabe Concepcion's brother Don Don Concepcion (pre-Pacquiao era), who was also a regional champ. Don DOn jumped up in weight to fight Vazquez for the NABF superbantam belt which Bernabe Concepcion now holds. I hope Concepcion gets a chance at revenge before Vazquez retires.

Juanma took a lesser foe in Oquendo as not to derail his date with Ponce de Leon. Arum announced the Juanma-Concepcion fight then tells us a week later that Juanma took on a different foe, and GBP even had to issue a statement saying that the Juanma-Oquendo fight was set way before the Juanma-Concepcion talks. The only weird thing there is that Juanma talking with GBP happened under Arum's nose. :hey Compare Juanma and Concepcion's 7 recent opposition (minus De Leon of course) and you'll see that Juanma took the easier route to the rankings.

like saying. gamboa is good but why rush him and fight pac?!

Give concepcion a year or two. then he will be ready.

BUT if he fights now? He gets KO in 5 or 6 rounds!
