Unless you have been hit by both of them don't give me that bull****!! How can you say Gamboa hits twice as hard??? Did a voice told you so during your dreams last night???:patsch
Now, lets analyzed this. Gamboa is good, no doubt. Does Lopez has a chance?? A very good one, I think. But it will not be easy. Lopez continue to makes the same mistakes he was doing 5 fights ago. Nobody is correcting them. He also needs more head movement.
Gamboa looked like superman last night but I can't judge Gamboa's full potential by last night performance. Here is why.... First take a look at Mtagwa entrance for both fights. I assure you, you will see 2 different people. Mtagwa was defeated before the beggining of the fight. Plus, Gamboa was at least 10 pounds heavier than Mtagwa last night. Mtagwa looked good at the end against Lopez, but he also got hit, a lot.
One thing is sure. In order for Lopez to have a chance to beat Gamboa he needs to survive the first three rounds and dont get sloppy. If he does, Gamboa will knock him out. Make not mistake, Gamboa is the most experience fighter, even if his record doesn't say so. This guy has a lot of rounds of experience.
Bottom line, last night Lopez went up in weight and KO'd a 126lbs champion. Gamboa KTFO a guy who, in the best night of his career was nothing more than a 122lbs contender. This will be a great fight whenever happens. And I am not 100% it will happen at 126lbs. All depends on how long Gamboa will be able to make 126lbs. He was at least 138 at fight time last night.

Gamboa's reflexes are too good. Acompanied with the power. As long as he keeps poised early and disiplined like he did last night he should win by late ko or close UD. JuanMa will move and box.

He watched JuanMa vs. Mtagwa then he watched Gamboa vs. Mtagwa. That all you have to do to come to the same conclusion: Gamboa hits harder.

Yeah i noticed that in last nights fight as well, he's become more pacient and isn't dropping his hands as much as he did before(i.e. Darling Jimenez fight). But truth be told, for me this is another Barrera-Morales situation where two of my favorite fighters would be pinned against each other. I'm leaning towards Gamboa a bit more though, his hand speed and combinations are brutal but Lopez has heart and is very skilled as well. It's going to be a great fight.

Really? You do remember that they were both at 122lbs. Very different to last night. Mtagwa showed up at 122.5lbs Gamboa weighted 126.2 just two hours prior to the ceremony. He did the official weight in, but last night he was at least 138lbs. Juanma already looked stronger than in his last fight and it will get better. As a matter of fact I don't think strenght will be the desicive factor in the fight. I think it will be the experience. His pro career is not too long, but Gamboa is the most experienced fighter. If they don't fix the mistakes Lopez is doing in the ring it could be a very short night for Lopez. But we also need to see how will Gamboa react to Lopez punches.

Lopez "recovered" from two horrible performances (Lontchi and Mtagwa) to beat Luevano, but he simply doesn't have what it takes to beat Gamboa. San Rafaelito, come and insult all you want, shmootsiepoo. :D

AS much as I hate to say it I must admit I think it's going to be a short night 4 Juanma by way of TKO. Juanma was being hit all night by this guy last night, and Gamboa is not Luevano. Juanma is similar to a PW case in which I always said he was exposed by Quintana and would be exposed again, just a matter of time, and so then came S. Martinez. Juanma won't go too far as competition goes up. He knows it, Caballero knows it and 4 sure mobster Arum knows it, and that's why this is useless to discuss because this fight is not anywhere near to happen.... not while Arum is on top of things, IMO....only time will tell though... anything can happen... we'll see!

juanma didn't look so good in couple of fights, because hewas weight drained. At 126 he didn't look tired at all and knocked out a guy who never got knocked out before, so I can't compare what gomboa did, because of those reasons. I'll go with lopez for sure and by midway ko.

Tough fight, we know Juanma could take punishment and also give punishment. Gamboa is fast with great offense, but we have yet to see him in survival mode and better opposition. Im leaning towards Gamboa by a fraction, but then again I could see Juanma winning a real close one as well. Too close to call right now.

Yeah and he Ko'd him in 2 while JuanMa beat him in 12.

Or hold up let me guess, JuanMa softened Mtagwa up for Gamboa.
