*IF* that's the case, it's EITHER - OR then what does it matter to marquez? I'm reluctant to call anybody a steroid cheat, and I don't want to sound like a ******* against Marquez. We know Manny didn't want to take certain tests, BUT he A) he either never agreed in the first place or B) he offered certain testing and the fight fell through anyways. I like Pac, but if he wouldn't have honored his contract or would have wanted one company to do bloodwork instead of the other.. I'd think WTF?! What does it matter??? Between Pac's great wins over bigger guys, moving up weight classes to a certain extent (some of it just being dehydrating to much at the weighin), and everything else I'd think he was being fishy. With Marquez knocking him out, his team, etc don't think even the most hardcore Marquez fan, if being honest could say it's not a bit fishy. Honor the contract, if your going to take 1 test why not let the other company do it, and quit whining your entire career.
Marquez did hire the top steroid expert in the world today, who is also the best at cheating drug tests.........................This person testified against his so-called friends to keep from going to prison. Check it out...........His steroid expert, hired as a conditioning coach got immunity for his testimony!
lol... I agree bro. Huge Pac fan but I think Manny was/is on Peds, ofcourse. Didn't in 2009, but now I feel silly for not seeing it. I think marquez evened the playing field, could be wrong, but that's my opinion. I think Marquez is phenomenal boxer, and one with honor, however this isn't a book or movie, and dude got sick of being at a disadvantage. I think it ridiculously prevalent at this level, why would boxing be different then any other sport? Seriously though, at this point I just want to see the fight and hope it goes through.
What a load of crap. These testing guidelines were allegedly already in the fight contract that both men signed. Bradley scared because he wants the contract enforced? atsch There should never be an issue with extra testing. When there is... :think
Morales tested positive under USADA testing. Dont know the reason why its USADA that gets flak for Morales going on to fight with the positive test, but USADA has no pull as to what a boxing commision can and cannot do. USADA tested Morales, it came up positive. USADA made it public of the positive test. GBP asked USADA to test Morales again. They did, Morales was negative. At no time did USADA state that Morales positive test was void. USADA did their jobs. They got paid to test Morales and they announced the results of each test. What the boxing commision and the promotion does as a result of those tests, it on them, not USADA. USADA has caught Erik Morales, a Latino GBP fighter. End of!!!
Elcyclone, typical marquez dick sucker so stupid, so niave, and so biased. Jmm fans are the new *******s.
According to what we've read so far the contract stipulates either VADA or USDA. JMM chose USDA, WTF is the problem? So yes, If Bradley is so concerned about the testing then he is literally scared:deal I personally think he is just trying to play head games , the fight will go on(after Arum gives him an extra bonus, which is probably Bradley's main intention).
Lots of you are assuming you know what stated in those contracts. I've been around to long to know that Arum, a Harvard law school graduate words those contracts very carefully. I'm certain that contract is'nt clear as to who does what testing. With Arum the scum, you're going to get into a situation thats open to interpretation because thats how scum operate. Cant believe that people are just taking Bradley's word that the contract states USADA and VADA both. I'm sure it has the mention of both, but how its worded is the key. I wish Bradley would post that contract up somewhere. I got a strong suspicioun that the wording of that contract is not what he's pointing out and alluding to. The reason I believe this is that why would Marquez sign a contract stating he's test with VADA if he had no intention of doing so? Just does'nt make much sense to me. As for Tim Bradley, I think he was led to believe by Top Rank that USADA and VADA would be used, but I just dont think its in the contract language the way he's depicting it or Bob Arum could get sued. Can anybody rationally explain why Marquez would sign to be tested by VADA and then backout??? From the beggining they had said no to VADA because of Victor Conte's ties to it.
Thats what I'm guessing. The contract has to be worded that its either or and Bradley is just interpreting it as both. Marquez just recently said he does'nt know why Bradley is wound up about it and that the agreement was that he test with USADA and Bradley with VADA. At the end of the day its going to be either or, or its going to be arranged by the Nevada commision leading the way for the testing like Arum stated, but its quite apparent that its not going to be the way Bradley is demanding. I sure would love to read the wording on that contract so I can have a good laugh!
You're doing your thing just like Arum would Kirk, you're hiding your bias against Marquez with words like allegedly. If the key word is allegedly why do you call anyone that disagrees with Bradley "a load of crap" and then go on to laugh at anyone that thinks Bradley is scared? You're clearly siding with Bradley here even though you yourself dont know what the contract actually say's. I from the beggining have stated that Marquez should honor the wording of the contract. If its say's that each will be tested by both USADA and VADA and the key word is "each," then Marquez would be in the wrong for backing out of it. There is just no evidence though the the actual contracts say each fighter will get tested by both. Bradley would do himself a favor and gain backing if he posts the actual wording of the contract. I'm can just about guarantee you that it does'nt say each. Tim Bradley is a fighter, he's not smarter than Bob "scumbag" Arum!!!!
