was a huge shot. and fair play to the old warrior; he climbed back up and closed the round stronger with some wicked combinations.

Quite possibly my favorute fight from Marquez.

His work on the inside in this fight was a beauty to watch.

Maybe because he whipped his ass three times? Twice officially, once he got robbed. An OLD Barrera was able to hang with JMM. In his prime, Mab could box as well as JMM and slug as well or better than EM.

Post Sergio's resume of great fighters beaten, the ones that put him above JMM, or shut the **** up.

Wildly variable in terms of how he should be rated.

    Norwood
    Pacquiao(x3)
    John
    Mab.

How you see these fights will determine how you him.

I personally scored each of them fights in his favour and I consider him a genuine all time great.

I've not studied my featherweight notes in enough detail but as it is I struggle to think of say 15 fw's i'd rank above him.

I agree 100% and this is coming from a die hard Barrera fan. If you asked me 10 years ago what the ranking were, I would have Barrera, Morales and then JMM. Now I have to flip that upside down.

It's amazing what JMM has done in his late 30's.

Erik Morales was my fav of the 3 but JMM has come out ahead recently. Really a treat to watch.
