I have much respect for Juanma and Gamboa. A fight between them would be my dream as both of them are in my top 3 favorite current fighters. Honestly, I think both of them would beat John really easily, yeah I'm saying REALLY easily. John hasn't impressed me at all, I don't know how he built that record. And I'm not new to his fights. Look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ9_6bjjxJs This is the second fight of John vs Rojas, were Rojas was allegedly ultra dominated (the first fight ended as a SD for John). Even if Rojas was more in his prime than he is right now, I don't see a big difference in his fight style and stamina. Actually, I thought he had more stamina in his fight vs Gamboa and Gamboa was just playing with him all night long without trying to KO him. Just imagine the Rojas you see in this video all slow and falling by himself fighting Yuri... Yuri would probably knock him out by only looking at him. Same goes for John, both Juanma and Gamboa would be too much for him. Just looking at styles, I can't possibly imagine how John would manage to win vs one of them. Some people are so much into boxing they forget the basics, they forget to recognize real talent when it is just right there. People will put much more weight on accomplishments, which is not bad, but it's not everything.
Agreed, I see it JuanMa by TKO/KO and maybe Gamboa late TKO but I lean more twords a UD for him. Also why no poll?
CJ may beat Gamboa who I'm not sold on. However, JuanMa is the goods. That kid may end up an ATG if his beard holds up.
Chris John may well school both of them, more experienced, more technical and he beat Marquez after all (and no it wasnt a robbery) so beating JuanMa and Gamboa is certainly on the cards. If I was promoting either I wouldn't let John near them
