Well, it's up to him. It would be worth more if he just took the June PPV date and let Amir fight on against Judah for another title. I'm sure Khan and Maidana would get it on in December, again. Surely, if Amir won, it would be worth more to Maidana seeing as Khan would have two titles (presuming he beats Judah) Fair enough, you can't fault Maidana if he wants it, but as a fan, I rather see Amir take on a unification bout instead of seeing him fight someone he's already beaten (for now), don't you?
I'd take either zab or maidana tbh, either would suit m although I'd prefer judah first, yes.. Maidana would probably be the easier fight imo. Zab poses a serious danger stylewise. I wouldn't be shocked if it was a similar stoppage to the santa cruz one should judah win. Khan overreaching again, judah steps back and clocks him one (obviously different styles and levels but khan does tend to fal in a bit) Maidana probably wouldn't wanna risk a loss or a bad cut which could derail/postpone any kind of khan fight if he did take a june fight.
So you'd rather him wait until the end of the year to 'move forward'? Unifications mean NOTHING. Zab is either just inside or just outside the top five. It's a good fight, but the fact Khan and Maidana had such a great fight last time and clashed so well bodes well for a rematch IMO.
Maidana is a massive ****. He's a massive **** for needing to headbutt and hit an old Morales repeatedly on the break to beat him though. Not for wanting a rematch with Khan after a close fight.
Judah is exactly the type of fight Khan doesn't need Southpaw, fast, powerful but considered over the hill. He represents a substantial risk for Khan but a win isn't a big event either. In terms of matchmaking he really doesn't need this when he has the Bradley fight on the horizon. Still it should be an interesting clash
Yes, I think that that is right, in which case Maidana has just done Judah a favour by saying this, as I think of those two Khan would rather fight Judah, anyway, and the fact that Judah holds the IBF belt lets Khan ignore Maidana for now without risking getting stripped.
I think it will be quite big. Judah is rather enigmatic and people will tune in to see if he can put it together.

No need to repeat a question I just answered in reply to Magic. As I said.. if he wants to enforce, then more power to him, BUT in the mean time, he could take the June PPV slot where he'd make some decent dosh and then, assuming Khan beats Judah, he'd have two titles, which would make it more appealing to Maidana. Unification means nothing? It certainly does, seeing as having two belts was apparently a bargaining tool in the small negotiations of Bradley-Khan. So if a unification means nothing, what does a Maidana fight mean, apart from being a good fight? NOTHING. Khan beating Judah and having two belts gives him a solid argument of being #1 140 Pounder and gives him much more leverage when negotiating with Bradley.
