I seem to remember him saying "Look, right in the balls, baby".

I'll have to review it when I get home to make sure.

 

I was screaming at the top of my lungs at Lamar Peterson and Khan and I bet the ref's instructions were probably a bit off to them during the knockdowns. (Peterson and Maidana)
Either way, that is another part of the speculation. Why not get up if it was low or you heard the ref counting. He thought it was an 8 count so he could get up to recover. At such a high level of boxing, you don't know the level of mental toughness needed. I don't know either but I bet it was a lot on his mind. Think, if he won this fight, he was in line for a Mayweather/Manny fight. Amazing.

The punch hits you in the groin and the belt pulls up hitting you in the balls.
It is the best/worst of both worlds, ha! As you can see in the video, the cup moves up as the punch lands. However, I bet the most pain came from the groin punch.

Ok, now say if you bend down to pick something up, your trousers or shorts are going to come up front the front, right? So it looks like less of your body is exposed. Well, this is exactly what the next picture shows:

Look at where Zab Judah's shorts are and look at the top picture. The shorts are clearly well above the place where Judah's belly button is, and that's also because his shorts came high because his body was bending down when he took that shot.

If you go watch the video, see the point of impact. It's not a low blow.

The punch was to the abs, and Judah grabbed his balls, which made it obvious that he was attempting to get a point taken away from Amir. When the ref said over, he suddenly jumped up. He knew.

I understand your point, but remember, a "low blow" is below the belt. That is what a "low blow" is. Not just the belly button area but wherever the referee instructs. I am a fan of boxing first, then Khan and Judah. The truth is the truth. It was a "low blow". If the ref would have said, "Anything below the second line is low" then we would not have this debate (Solely because I would not care, ha!) but more so because I believe in the truth and stand up for it.

Was Judah losing...definitely. Was he being busted up enough to quit...not quite but in the end, he lose and the fight is over.

Was technically a low blow according to the ref, but Zab tried to ***** out of the fight. He went down like it was a sledgehammer to the balls...he should have got up and protested on 8 or something.

Punches on the belt should have been legal, the shorts were too high. The rules in place to proect balls, not the stomach.

 

Can't believe this debate is still going on but this is what I have been saying from the start :good

what this video dont show is the beating that Khan was giving Judah above the trunks in ALL the rounds. It also does not show the face of Judah the last 4 rounds of the fight where his face was telling everybody " I want to quit". This video also does not show the MANY times Pernell Whitiker was imploring his fighter to throw the left and let his hands go which he did not do. Listen Judah is a punk looking for a free ride and any true boxing fan who is objective and wants to believe this garbage is a punk too. In the other hand that Mares guys needed to be disqualified!!!!

 

Because of Zab being black, Amir's punch connected with his *****. If Amir did that same punch to emmanuel, there wouldn't be a low blow
