The bigger the fight, the more attention is paid to the shitty scorecards. Even the WBA won't have their reputation tarnished even further by these kinds of situations. It seems the imperative to deal with it is much greater when a clearly all time classic fight is involved.
This was a close fight, and while a lot of people agree the card was wide, everyone agrees most of the rounds were almost inseparably tight, which means just a few of those super close rounds went to Estrada that might have gone to Chocolatito. We’re not talking GGG-Canelo 1, or Sergio-PTP 1,, where there was one extreme outlier who seemed to see an entirely different fight from everyone else.
