Wales is not a principality, do some research rather than just repeating what you have heard said by ignorant people.

Also consider that Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland each have there own partliaments (with differing levels of devolved powers) but still get to send MP's to London who are free to vote on issues that only effect England! The English tax payer also gets to subsidize public spending in Scotland, N. Ireland and Wales!
