    Yes but Riovalle is making life difficult for him every second. He is not one to lay down, in spite of his self-deprecating ring name (which means "garbage")

    Well, Diego is running short on time for that and while a brilliant prospect (who should actually be a current world champion, getting screwed after cleanly out-boxing Rocky Martinez) isn't the world's best finisher...

    I think I'm sat here watching this as a brit and going "the ref is letting this continue" more than remembering that this is in the US and the refs don't step in just because one guy is getting his nipples boxed off.

    Yeah...no case whatsoever for a stoppage in this. I guess you're right that it may have been in the UK by now but it would be one that outsiders would rightfully criticize the ref - and the reputation of British refs in general - for.

    Diego has very little power and is dominating but not bashing Riovalle's brains in. Would you have argued for a stoppage any time during Calzaghe vs. Lacy?
