Omotoso works some hooks to the body and uppercuts to the face out of his turtle shell while leaning in. Tyner presses in, leading with his forearms and trying to slap around from the sides up at the head of the taller man. Long straight rights and uppercuts from Omotoso.

OO is actually a welterweight for now but with his frame he'll definitely move up.

Tyner's got a peculiar style.

 

Round 3

Omotoso jabs the body. Double jabs up top. Tyner keeps grinding in, and Omotoso is scraping him with uppercuts up close. Big straight right from long range by Omotoso after stepping back! Long scooping rights to the body by Tyner, landing softly. Omotoso lets Tyner walk right up to him. Tyner's corner is screaming for more body shots. Omotoso jabs the body and uppercuts the face as Tyner comes forward. A pair of quick hooks up top by Tyner. Body shots by Omotoso, turning Tyner and landing beneath the elbow. Omotoso circles left and jabs. 1-2 pumping by Omotoso. Tyner pushes the taller man back to the ropes. Left hook to the body by Tyner! Uppercut!! Omotoso is letting him press right in without countering or tying up. Omotoso just patiently picks some shots, throwing spatula uppercuts up through the narrow gap between them and dropping some hooks to the side.

Omotoso backs up and lands straight right hands as Tyner comes in. Wild left riser by Tyner, missing badly. Omotoso lands uppercuts and slapping hooks to the body and turns Tyner to get his own back off the ropes. Tyner grinds in and hacks away but Omotoso is landing the heavier stuff with his straight rights and uppercuts to the head and left hooks downstairs. Tyner is taking flush shots and dropping his hands out wide at his sides, mugging and clowning. Omotoso digs body shots as they lean together again, with Tyner pushing the bigger man back a bit. Tyner slips some shots but Omotoso partially connects with a jab, hook, right, another hook...

40-36 Omotoso

 

This guy's a nut. Wild swinging, stupid. He'll get himself KTFO doing that.

 

Round 5

Omotoso lands an uppercut, with Tyner leaning in on him. Body shots by Omotoso. Tyner keeps marching forward, taking away Omotoso's effective range and flopping against him to grind in with his dome and forearms. Omotoso hooks up high and cuffs Tyner across the back of the neck with his wrists. Tyner fights his way off the ropes and lands some body shots. Heads pressed together, horns locked - both fire away with underhands to the body. Tyner is rocked back to the ropes by a right hand. Slapping kidney shots by Tyner, before clamping his arms down on Omotoso's. Jabs by Omotoso. Left hook to the head by Omotoso. Tyner tries an uppercut and gets countered.
