I hope people know that this thread is a wind up to people who are saying Froch deserves no credit for beating JT as he was behind on the scorecards. I'm not slagging JCC at all, he's one of my all time favourite fighters. Irony is lost on some people!
Saying that is just plain stupid. Froch knock him the **** out. I mean, it was a hard fought fight, and the better fighter won. Plain and simple.
oh ok, **** Chavez Jr. I'm Mexican, all my boxing buddies are Mexican and we all agree that this kid is a joke. He doesn't get a free pass for being my paisano.
Pascal was not top 10. Who did Pascal beat? Taylor was 1-1 at 168 (and it's far from a strong division).
I had Froch needing a 10-8 12th round for the draw and a 10-7 for the win. It was a close fight where Taylor did well early on as he usually does and then faded losing much of the later rounds to Froch. Froch is a legit fighter. He proved himself last night. On the official scorecards a 10-7 would have still had Froch losing by 1 point on 2 of the three scorecards. It was an exciting fight.
Because he was one of the few true all-time greats of the modern era and people love to tear him down to make their favs look better.
Is this about Sr Or Jr,because Sr beat Roger Mayweather and Juan Laporte at 130,Jose Luis Ramirez when he was still good,Hector Camacho,Meldrick Taylor,Edwin Rosario,Greg Haugen amongst others.
