Yea they knocked each other down in the same round. I usually wouldn't bring up something like sparring but Ray Leonard mentioned it in a documentary about Pryor. Leonard was one of the tougher Welterweights to Knockdown before his layoff. If it was a clean knockdown that would put some shade on those who say Pryor was nothing etc. I think his ability is pretty obvious
Pryor probably would go down because he got caught with his chin up or off balance. On the flip side, Julio had that hard head and underappreciated defense. Aaron could punch though and if he did hurt Chavez badly or even put him down I think Chavez is not going to survive it. After a guy like Julio gets his chin dented it takes away bit of his mystique. Chavez had that going for him.
