Chavez..he would have dominated Morales from the 6th round on for a decision...maybe even a late tko.

Morales was all pure Mexican alpha male down to the core of his bones, but I can't envision any scenario based in....well, reality I suppose, that sees him outgunning Chavez.

84 Chavez was better than 05 Morales by a solid amount, that morales was a bit chipped down from what he was. beating pac was his swan song as a fighter

Chavez. I have great respect for Morales but Chavez beats him in my eyes.

Chavez was similar to Barrera, except bigger/stronger with a better right hand. I see Chavez winning a 9-3 type decision with Morales having his moments

Im gonna gree with the majority here and say Chavez stops Morales late, in a classic action packed fight between 2 mexican legends. That and at the end of the fight, Morales' face isnt gonna be looking pretty at all.

    Chavez for me too.

On a sidenote, i won't tolerate a bad word being uttered within a large radius of Erik Morales' name.

You forgot a better chin and a better left rip to the body.

This ends bad for Erik, even if the weight drained version of Chavez (of Laporte fame) shows up.

I think Barrera was faster and more explosive in combination, but you're right. Chavez is too much for Erik Morales; will be dishing out punishment with either hand and soaking up Erik's shots with little to no problems at all. Given that it is Erik Morales, he will have his moments but it'll be apparent who was getting to who...late stoppage.

I'am a big fan of Eric & lucky for him he was'nt around when Chavez ruled the roost, a vicious & brutal encounter with only one ending......Chavez TKO.
