JCC JR too big for CANELO...skill wise canelo is better though...JCC takes this one..

Actually judging from their recent fights against Cintron and Manfredo jr. Id say theyre about on even terms. its a coin flip on who would win at this moment in time.

Canelo is starting to look big at LMW despite his frame

Chavez looks big at MW

They both proved they have a strong punch but are also very vunerable to getting hit themselves and being backed up.

It all depends on how Canelo would do against a MW, considering he dealt with a large former "champ" in Cintron id say hes fare well against some MW oppositiong but Chavez has yet to truely shine up at 160 himself.

People are picking Chavez to win simply because hes at the higher weight but wasnt he a LMW himself before moving up?

 

I think Alvarez does him worse than Rubio.

 

Canelo will take this, even at 160.
He kills himself at the moment making 154, so he will be a full fedged Middleweight if that's the weight they meet on.
People now look at the Manfredo fight and think JCC jr is too big, too strong etc. but don't take Peter's level in account here and certainly not the difference in punching power.
I'm sure Zbik would have beaten jr. if he had even Peter's pop (wich isn't close to Canelo's).

Jr wins imo, too big, too strong, too durable. Alvarez is a better boxer and will probably have a lead on the scorecards til hes broken down and stopped.
