Based on both guys last few matchups you would expect Junior to win via a close decision.

Good Match. I like Jnr and hope he wins. Im glad its jnr fighting Taylor and not Mundine! Jnr is a good fighter on the way up, and this is a step in the right direction for him.

Jnr would be the definite favourite.

But Taylor was as fit as I have seen for ages against Sultan and fought with a cool head for 12 rds.

Taylors chin will always be his achilles heel.

very funny about getting the DQ win against SMA.
ill back jnr in this one. but Taylor still needs to be respected by a young prospect like jnr.

Interesting as since Taylor has started using Dale Fritz ( former ist grade league player) he is much fitter. The performance against Sultan was much better due to this.Taylor is not what he was but will be a test for junior if he continues to stay in shape.

Taylor probably still has the ability to win 12rd point decisions against good but not great domestic talent. If Taylor (as a few have said) has improved his fitness than he will be hard to beat. Jnr seems a good talent but just doest have that big punch to ko Taylor i don't imagine.

lets hope shannon trains for this fight so we can be entertained from the quality of the fight not the slugfest it might be if he is not conditioned
