Junior Witter would beat Ricky Hatton, what do you think?

My gut pick would be Floyd, straight away.

A natural counter puncher isn't really going to trouble Floyd, because as he has moved up in weight he has become more defensive, relying on right hand counters before moving into the pocket later.

But that said, I'm not sure (at all) how Marquez is going to approach this one. He overcame a few hairy moments against Diaz before outslugging/outfighting him and closing the show.... and he seems to be punching harder as he moves up.

I guess the first couple of rounds will give us an insight.

Gotta go for Floyd though, as much as I like Marquez and want to see him get his revenge on Pacquiao (he won both for me), it isn't happening via a win over Mayweather.

Its pretty hard to judge a 2nd round knockout to the worlds number one to pulling out in a fight against Devon Alexander on a arm injury. Still i pick Hatton for this one. Witter has no power in his punches at all and i dont think he would trouble Ricky. Saying that not intrested in the fight anymore.

Not anymore he wouldn't. I think Witter is in a worse state than Hatton to be honest. Not only is he easier to hit than he used to be, even though his game is more based around defence than Hatton, but he can't time his watch offensively. If Witter was facing Pacquiao the same likely happens to him, maybe a round or two later, but it happens anyway.

I agree. Marquez will realise that he cannot win during the course of the fight or win doing what he does best and he will uncharacteristically have to become more reckless which will lead to him being knocked out especially as he really wants to win badly.

Witter looked bad last time out. He's slowed so much he can be caught with ease.
I would go for Hatton against Witter but the fight will never happen.
