Couple times, maybe. Some of those punches landed while he had his feet planted, and they were literally uprooted and dropped a short distance away as though by a twister; Marquez was putting the fury of hell into some of those.
I can conclude that PAc has one of the best chins in History Im thinking of these 3 great Mexicans and PAc can hold this fact against anyone..I mean only guy I can think of off the top of my head with the same wars against elite level comp is Hagler maybe Holyfield
He would not be able to put his sentences even if he's head is clear as day. He is far from articulate
But even compared to his other post-fight interviews, this was the worst. He was very disoriented. He's taken so much punishment.
But let's be honest here, he did seem genuinely surprised by the verdict and that might also have something to do with his stammering !
I love it when he does that and raises his arms to say, come on keep coming. There were 2 times when i thought Pac was about to touch canvas, the 8th round and this combination This content is protected that combination would of knocked down everyone else at 130 and below IMO
Agreed and the fact is he didnt wobble but rather was out of balance..note that he got hit while his feet are still in the air
i thought he was just happy... It's not like he already knew he lost its more like he wasn't just sure yet if he won. It was a very close fight... So his reaction was just natural IMO...
He definately has a granite chin, however, those three guys aren't know for their punching power at 130. Morales was a bit of a puncher at 122, but from memory (can't be bothered checking) never stopped anyone at 130? He didn't carry his power up, and both Barrera and Marquez aren't exactly big hitters either. Both have "good" power, that's it. Nonetheless, as I said, he does have a granite chin. He takes flush shots very, very well. Not quite in the category of Lamotta, or Hagler, or Chuvalo etc, simply because he hasn't faced the big punchers like those guys did. You look at each of them, and not only did they never go down (legitimately), but they each faced monster-punchers, such as Robinson, Hearns and Foreman, respectively.
Good point...most recently like I said Hagler comes to mind..although i will point out that Hagler got hit less often than PAC..Manny just took so much punches flush and sometimes at an awkward position..this is whats impressive..Agree with Chuvalo
this is not nuthugging at all cuimba. he does have a good chin. a lot of fighters would have went down with the punches jmm threw that night. pac is tough. no question
