    Well,

That's 3 fights now i have watched of him and he was far from stellar.

Where is the killer instinct? the evil streak that drives you on to knock the other guy out? to say 'Hey this old road warrior aint pushing me around!'

He is cut out for boxing... and should stick to fights with people who box and should avoid at all costs anyone who comes to have an old school full blown punch up.

I read he is contemplating moving down to 168?

I think that's a bad move for him. He seemed to struggle for stamina towards the end of the fight and against an Andrade or a Miranda he would get knocked out.

    Forget Froch or Kessler period.

Dawson destroys both of them. He'll stop Froch, he'll comfortably out point Kessler. If you think Dawson is another Jermaine Taylor, you are mistaken. He is bigger, stronger, faster and far more technically polished as a fighter with a good defense. Adamek has more power then both of these guys.

Dawson seemed to be in a coma himself during the second half of the fight.

Calzaghe would have beaten Dawson, no doubt about it.

Dawson has a questionable chin, leaky defence and lacks the adaptability and intelligence to mix it with the elite fighters.

Where was the adaptability in the Johnson fight ? Where was the killer instinct in the Tarver fights ?

People go on about Dawsons size and his speed but fail to mention his MAJOR shortcommings.

Leaky defense? Tarver had about a 10% connect percentage last night.

He has a decent chin. Was taking bombs from Glen Johnson, took a couple of flush shots from Tarver, 2 true light heavyweights. I think his defense has improved since he fought Johnson.

I agree about his adaptability and intelligence. But in terms of elite fighters. Froch is not an elite fighter. Kessler hasnt proven himself to be an elite fighter. If anything Dawson by his competition is more elite then either of them.

Froch has no boxing ability, Dawson would beat the **** out of Froch for 12 rounds, or TKO him late. Also Dawson's defense is much better than Taylor's.

    Yeh..

    But he's still winning...

He is athletic, and has the skills...

In the Johnson fight i disagree, he adapted....

After he was hurt bad, he stood his ground..and let loose with combinations to the body.

    He did'nt run..!!!!
