Nice report mate. I was there too(upstairs) and my guess was no more than 60 Froch supporters and about 20 of those were friends and family. A very disappointing turn out but I suspect that in years to come, just like the first ever Sex Pistols concert, thousands more Nottingham folk will cllaim to 'have been there'!!! I also went to the New York press conference and the following day managed to blag my eay into the Klitschko/haye press conference as well!! Will try to post some pics on here in a minute
Thanks mate. Yes even without the finish I'd do it in a heartbeat. To be honest I didn't see the fact that it was in some Indian reserve in the middle of nowhere as a hassle but as an experience and something new to try out. I've been to MSG a couple of times now and love it, but the fact that we had to get a train at the crack of dawn on Sat am from Penn station kind of added to the anticipation.
Come on David get those pics up, it can't be that hard! I didn't even think about the Haye presser in New York, well done.
You are on another forum? Get out of here and don't come back. I was wondering why Froch kept flicking his leg. It was a great fight, you were lucky to be there.
Nice report, good stuff. Bit disappointed in the brit turnout but hey hoe. How much did it set you back mate, all-in?

Great observations mate, must have been a great night but Please never refer to Forest as NottS Forest, ever, but good post!
Earnie has been legendary, he'll stay, I'm sure of it, I mean Premiership next year, Champions league in a couple, futures bright. Bet he's happy he didn't stay at D**by!
Thanks mate, glad you found it interesting. Cost well over a grand all in but we stayed three nights in New York (Thur, Fri, Sun) in addition to the Sat at Foxwoods and spent a fair bit on the **** and eating out etc. The best seats (which we went for) were 'only' US$200 though and were spot on. Foxwoods is a 2 and a half hour train ride from New York plus a 20 min cab ride.
