So, if you KNOW that there are business and political reasons for Mayweather not taking the fight, then why in the fugg are you starting a thread claiming he's 'scared'?

Come on, Pimpin. You in violation and you know it. Slick talking behind a grown azz man's back all the while at the same time claiming to be down and cool with him. With all due respect, that's some real 'cat'
    sh!t you doing.

I didn't think Philly cats moved like that. Oh well.

    Sad indeed.

Shut up, dickrider. You feel it is a privilege to talk cause he's a pro. Anyone can be a pro. It doesn't mean he can't be a hater. You may as well start a fan club for him.

I ain't him, so it doesn't matter what I would do. He posts his opinions, you don't have to agree with it or like it.

Now your really acting in the dark. A Spinks/Floyd date was all set and even in the newspapers but Floyd once again took the path of least reistance. Floyd overloaded his own arse when he called out Winky and Winky let the whole world know that Floyd was no legend.

Money May has hired a lot of so called marketing experts to "get his name out there" in a desperate attempt to turn him into the Jordan or tiger Woods; but he cant figure out that even the most casual of sport fans knows a legendary fight and fighter when they see one. Money May is only fooling himself and a handful of hopers:patsch

If I where one of Floyd's managers and I knew that his hands where not really overly brittle; I would tell him that the greatest of all investors where not only great risk takers but also great focusers and that just two more of the "right boxing matches" could sell legions upon legions.

thats not just it it's a problem with margo and arum i know the fight would be close if floyd would even win and add arum to that.... but i can't say if margo was with a diffrent promoter it would change things fully either it's two problems here arum and margo

All you say is each fight was set but dont give a reason for what happened.

I dont know what happened with the Spinks fight but I do know Arum changed the contract on Winky when they went to sign without even talking to Floyd. Opting Winky to not sign.

You claim he turned down a Cotto in the other post yet don't even state so here. Floyd called out Cotto at 140 with Arum saying Cotto is too inexperienced, with Floyd agreeing with Arum and looking at other options.

I seen Winky twice on t.v. very confidently telling his version of how Floyd called out then chickened out--its old news. Floyd realy blew an oportunity for legendary status here.

Whatever happened with Cotto/Floyd at 140 doesnt dismiss the fact that Floyd blew a much greater oportunity when Cotto "called Floyd out" at 147.

at1 i don't think you have the right to criticize floyd, sure you can say as a fan blah, blah, blah but how would it sound if me or others as a fan go criticize you as a boxer?

i see your next fight is with a bum who is 0-1-2 in his last 3 fights..IBO USBO middleweight title?:huh

you see at1 its like that..respect man learn it

floyd could be the most loudest mouth fighter but its not reason to disrespect the man's accomplishments

Fitz...dont get things twisted bro....Floyd has turned down many fights. To say it was b/c he's "Scared" is a bit much, but Floyd has and would turn down fights that he felt didn't make sense or enough money.

Floyd by all accounts has picked and chose his oppoents bc he could. No one should knock him for this bc he has faced legitimate and stern competition.....but Floyd is very intelligent. He knows the styles and obstacles and issues with each fighter that calls him out.

Floyd and his team figure out if the reward is worth the risk and make a judgement call. The only fighter that Floyd didn't have a say in was DLH....DLH wanted to fight FLoyd as did Floyd wanted to fight DLH......but DLH held the cards and made the fight happen.

This was a risky fight for Floyd which proved to be true with how close the fight was.....but Floyd needed this fight to shoot his stock out of the stratosphere. It worked well. but to say Floyd never turned anyone down is a joke.
