Hey, you bet. Sorry I was a little brash but I just wanted to really get my point across about this particular situation with the sauna suit. I know this is a tough sport, and we abuse our bodies enough as it is.
You have not stated one helpful peace of advice in this whole post. You just countered everything I said with ignorant remarks or responded in a way which I felt was condescending. So I'd hope you understand when I say, stfu Come back with a biochemistry degree or some type of credentials that would make me give a **** about what you have to say or just stop responding. Thank you, have a nice day.
No problem it's cool.. It's just some people are genuinely concerned and others just like to be douches. I understand what your saying but I'm going to give it a go, for a while atleast, see how it pans out. Thanks man!
Go back and re-read my posts. If you still don't understand what's been said then you need to go back to school... That's 3 people so far that have said don't do it but you've ignored the advice. You're just ignorant.
Like I've said, you have said nothing, if your going to tell me not to wear it atleast post a reason why not to wear it. Something factual with evidence. Now, for the second time, please quit posting on my thread. P.s - It was two people, the other guy asked if I was pro and said he thought they were used to cut water water weight, nothing more. :hi:
I would really not recommend this. The only time these should be used is right before a weigh in to lose water weight, even then that isn't a great thing to do.
as your hotter your blood is going to be circulating closer to your skin to keep your body tempature at 98.6. i really have no idea if this causes you to burn more calories or not the heat could also make the fat less viscious and it might burn more easily but i really have no idea if it does and your going to have to do your own research. my own personal experience with one of those slimmer belt neoprene wraps it might do something but after a while the novelty is lost and instead of spending 10 or 20 mins putting it on to go jogging your just going to rather go jogging.
Training in Sauna suits is stupid- its absolutely pointless unless you want to lose water in immediate proximity to a weigh in- if your desperate use one to warm up then take it off.
He's not going to listen, he looks cool now fitting in with all the other guys at the gym that wear sauna suits for no good reason. :rofl
How much you pay for that POS ? A cheap ass rain pants and jacket would do the trick and also help out in the wet weather and cost less also. Like they say its for water weight. Did u know that swallowing whole ice cubes will make you loss a little extra calories too, apparently your stomach works to cool it Kinda pointless as well though lol
This is a good point. Your body burns more calories when you're cold. Why don't you tell the gym owner to put the cooling system on freezing? Would have pretty much the same effect as what you're trying with the sauna suit.
Sweat suits are at best pointless, at worst they can be downright dangerous. They're a relic from a time when people thought sweating = losing weight.
